PT Waskita Toll Road (“WTR”) is a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, with a vision to become Indonesia’s leading company in toll road investment. Established on June 19, 2014, WTR has actively acquired a number of toll roads across Indonesia. Within five years of its establishment, WTR achieved significant milestones as a toll road developer, holding shares in 18 toll roads located on the islands of Java and Sumatra. With a total length of 1,021 km across these 18 toll roads, WTR has successfully positioned itself as a state-owned enterprise subsidiary that supports the development of toll road infrastructure in Indonesia.
As a toll road developer, WTR is also focused on executing several corporate actions related to the divestment of shares in various toll roads. With a toll road portfolio that contributes to regional economic development, WTR has successfully carried out nine corporate actions for share divestment from 2019 to 2024.
Looking ahead, WTR will focus on achieving the operational targets for its existing toll roads by prioritizing the completion of toll roads currently under construction. Additionally, WTR will continue to develop its business and pursue other corporate actions to ensure sustainable performance.
Over the past 10 years, the Company has actively invested in and developed infrastructure, expanding its portfolio in the toll road industry. Within five years of its establishment, the Company achieved a peak toll road length of 1,033 km in 2019 through 18 subsidiaries or Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT). To date, several BUJTs owned by the Company have undergone divestment processes as part of the Company’s asset recycling strategy, which is integral to its business operations. By 2024, the Company will have 10 subsidiaries or BUJTs operating toll road concessions on the islands of Sumatra and Java, with a total length of over 479 km.
Ogan Bridge
The Ogan Bridge is a new landmark on the Kayu Agung – Palembang Toll Road. It is the longest toll bridge in Indonesia, spanning 1.7 km. The bridge is adorned with Palembang songket motifs and replicates the design of the Sriwijaya Temple Gateway as the bridge’s entrance.
This logo is a transformation of the previous Waskita Toll Road Logo and is based on the heritage symbol Waskita Karya Group, which has long experience in construction and infrastructure. A dynamic circular visual form that represents a sustainable or sustainable business and continues to grow rapidly with a significant increase in value. This logo also represents the company’s efforts in the field of toll road investment, which bridges the achievements of the past – the present – the future.
Circular symbols can also be interpreted as representing the intertwined relay baton which also describes the inheritance that was passed down from one generation to the next, without losing the spirit, philosophy, values, and vision of Waskita Toll Road.
Blue and Red are derivatives of the Waskita Karya color which describes a harmonious whole as the Waskita Karya Group family and describes an optimistic, adaptive and responsible attitude.
Establishment of a joint venture Company, PT Waskita MNC Transjawa Toll Road. In the same year, Waskita Toll Road acquired MNC Group shares and changed the entity’s name to PT Waskita Transjawa Toll Road (WTTR). WTTR owns shares of 3 (three) toll road concessions, they are Kanci-Pejagan toll road concessionaire by PT Semesta Marga Raya, Pejagan-Pemalang toll road concessionaire by PT Pejagan Pemalang Toll Road and Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road concessionaire by PT Trans Jawa Paspro Highway.
